Sports for Hope and independence (SHI) led Rugby and inclusive sports development Clinic in Modhupur, Tangail, on 16-19th September 2017 was made possible by funding from Chowdhury Shahabuddin Ahmed. Rugby training was provided in Shainamari and Joynagacha Village and Phirgacha Saint Paul’s High School. Inclusive sports training was Protibondhi Daycare School. 90 males and 50 girls have participated in the Rugby Camp. The age range was from approximately eight years to twenty-nine years. Rugby Trainers were nationally recognized level 1 Coach. The camp covered four days of theory and practical elements with topics ranging from the History of Rugby, Recruitment. 18 children with Disability (11boys and 7girls) has participated in Inclusive sports training among them 13 cerebral palsies. 1 down syndrome, 2 intellectually disabled and 2 physically disabled. On the last day of the camp, there was a rugby competition for girls and boys. Three rugby teams both men and women participated in round robin league format. A community sports festival held on the last day of training 237 people participated in the event and nearby primary school also participate in the festival.
