Warm clothing support for senior citizen in Sreemangal
There is no better gift than providing warm clothing to the needy during the winter season. severe coldness in the winter affected a lot to challenged people mostly senior citizens. With the financial support from #shiBangladesh member Rahnuma Mahmud & her lovely husband Md. Benjamin Yeaman. We gifted 100 blankets to 100 senior citizens at Bhunobhir, Sreemangal, Moulvibazar.

Partnership with Coaches Across Continents
Sports for Hope and Independence (SHI) is now officially a partner of Coaches Across Continents. A global organization working in six continents that uses a unique Purposeful Play and Education Outside the Classroom program to impact the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals(SDG) and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Mangrove Children sports training program (2nd phase completed)
Background:
2nd phase of Sports training has been conducted for Mangrove Children in Kolbari Nekjaniya High School, Munsigonj Shyamnagar, Satkhira a project of Bizcare , supported by Mutual Trust Bank
Aims of the training: Intermediate of strength and conditioning, Football training for girls, Football skills development for youth and children
Participants: The participants are students from Kolbari Nexaniya High School, Kolbari Govt. Primary School, Mushiganj High School, Datinakhali govt. Primary School, Dipayon High School, Burigoalini Forest High School, Arfangashia PN High School and Basic football Academy.
Total Participants: 122

Social Awareness on sport participation: The awareness of sport participation has been increased significantly parents are supporting their children to participate in sporting activities. According to the parents they are very happy to see their children, girls and boy’s participating in sport mentioned during parents meeting. The participants not only participated in sporting activities but also repaired the entrance road of the school.
Income-generating support: 120 Participants received Income generating and nutrition Support of 4 quails to use as their potential income source of pocket money and gradually stepping towards bearing their own educational expenses.

Sports for Hope and Independence Rugby team become the Runner-up at Victory day Rugby Championship.
SHI is incredibly proud of the SHI rugby team for being the Runner-up team of the VIctory Day Rugby Championship organized by: Bangladesh Rugby Federation. Well done guys we Sincerely appreciate team achievement and everyone’s effort and commitment to the team. our sincere gratitude to all the players, people, and families who believe in us and support us to journey from one of the most underprivileged communities to the national championship runner-up.

Plant a Tree, get Oxygen for free
Plant a tree, get Oxygen for free. Our Rugby players from Betaga, Bagethat start the initiative to plant 1000 fruit trees in November. Let’s contribute more towards climate action. Sports for Hope and Independence (SHI) will continue tree plantation activity as a regular activity on its schedule and will encourage more communities to plant trees to take part in climate action.
